Free Church Announcements

One of the goals of 88.3 WAFJ is to “Give a voice to the vision of others.” Because of this, we offer a couple of ways to help you get the word out about what you're doing in the CSRA.

1) We offer you a FREE listing on our Family Calendar on our web site. Click here and submit your information.

2) If you're with a church that has a 501c3 designation, or represent another 501c3 non-profit organization, you are welcome to call our office at (803) 819-3125 between 9AM and 5PM Monday through Friday to schedule a FREE appointment to record a :30 announcement about your upcoming event. Each church or organization will be able to record and air ONE free 30 second announcement each month. You can request an "enhanced announcement" with a donation to our ministry for increased frequency.

Please schedule your appointment at least 4 weeks before your event. Recordings are scheduled on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10 AM and 12 PM on the hour or half-hour. If you’ve not done this before, please download our announcement guidelines. We've provided them to you in Microsoft Word format. If you have high-quality recording equipment, you MAY be able to record at your location and send us the audio file. BEFORE you come to the office – please be sure you’ve typed out your announcement. If for some reason you can’t make your appointment- PLEASE call so that we can schedule someone else in that time slot.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL information you might submit to us or record is always subject to our review for content and quality. We always reserve the right to refuse to air any announcement submitted to us. Once approved, the announcement will air on both 88.3 WAFJ and 101.9 & 88.7 The Song for three weeks leading up to your event as we have space available.
